Employment Committee
Councillors on the Employment Committee are:
Cllrs Abbott, Brockett, Eckersley, Leonard and Thompson
The council employs a number of staff and this committee is responsible for ensuring that all the employees are provided with the appropriate contracts, job descriptions and term and conditions of employment.
The committee provides a staff appraisal system, disciplinary and appeals panels and agrees the salary levels for the employees.
The committee meets twice a year to review the employment of the parish council employees and on an 'as needs' basis at other times.
