Anglian Water will be carrying out works on The Street in Melton on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th July.
They have provided the following update:
Works to repair a leak on The Street is being undertaken today (18/07/2024), but the traffic management has had to be upgraded to a road closure for safety reasons.
Anglian Water are aware of the impact this will have on Melton, and are doing everything we can, to repair this leak, and clear site as soon as reasonably possible.
It had previously been advised that the Stop and Go Boards, working in conjunction with the traffic lights, would be used to manage the traffic flow around the works to minimise disruption.
