Clean for the Queen – Friday 29th April – Monday 2nd May

Clean for the Queen!

Residents and organisations in East Suffolk are being encouraged to get involved in the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations by helping to tidy up the environment we live in.

East Suffolk Council has launched a new campaign to encourage and support people who want to do their bit and help clean up the litter that blights our villages, towns and countryside.

Clean for the Queen is taking place on Friday 29 April – Monday 2 May and will help mark a very special occasion whilst helping to keep East Suffolk litter free.

East Suffolk Norse can lend out equipment for organised litter picks, including Hi-Viz vests, litter pickers, bags and bag hoops. They can also remove the waste collected if notified in advance.

For more details and to register your litter pick, go to https://bit.ly/3KeJCqr

The Melton Womblers will be holding a litter pick on Sunday 1st May starting at Honey & Harvey – Melton, Riduna Park at 10am.  Contact Cllr Peter James by email: cllr.james@melton-suffolk-pc.gov.uk if you would like more details.
