Dear member of the Greenprint Forum,
A draft Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) for the county of Suffolk is now open for public consultation. Local Nature Recovery Strategy – Suffolk County Council
This strategy aims to restore and enhance nature. The strategy maps areas of potential importance for nature and the actions that could achieve this. The consultation will help ensure the strategy reflects the needs and views of local communities, stakeholders, and experts.
Have your say
You are invited to complete an online consultation.
You can also comment on the Suffolk local habitat map.
For more information including the draft Strategy and FAQs please visit: https://www.suffolk.gov.uk/council-and-democracy/consultations-petitions-and-elections/consultations/local-nature-recovery-strategy
The consultation will run until 11 June.
In parallel, the Norfolk strategy is also available for consultation. www.norfolk.gov.uk/naturerecovery
Please note that these are legally 2 separate strategies – you can respond to both if applicable to you, or just the one for the relevant county.
And please feel free to forward this onwards to others in your networks to encourage others with an interest in this matter to have their say too.
If you would like further information please direct any queries to LNRS@suffolk.gov.uk
Regards,
Daniel
