Lord Deben on Climate Change – It is the symptom, not the disease

It is three years since Lord Deben, former local MP and Environment Secretary, talked in Waldringfield. He played a prominent part in the recent COP 26 as Chair of the Committee on Climate Change, the independent statutory body which advises the UK Government on emissions targets and reports to Parliament on progress made in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preparing for climate change. This is a great chance to hear Lord Deben’s update and to question someone who is very much in the know.
Note – when Lord Deben last spoke at Waldringfield Village Hall in 2019, it was a very popular event, so if you are planning to attend you may wish to turn up 20 minutes early, just in case.
