Melton Good Neighbour Scheme

The Melton Good Neighbour Scheme launched on Wednesday 25th March 2020. They are a small group of local volunteers and if you need assistance please contact them. During this Covid-19 outbreak there will be a limited service on offer.

If you are a Melton resident do you need help or support with:

  • Shopping
  • Collection of prescriptions
  • Transport to and from covid vaccination appointments (Woodbridge, Trinity Park, Grove Medical Centre, Two Rivers Medical Centre)
  • Or simple a friendly phone call to check in

Calls to 0333 numbers cost no more than a national rate call to local 01 or 02 numbers. Calls count towards any inclusive minutes and phone package minute bundles in the same way as 01 and 02 calls.

The phone line is open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. If you can’t get through please leave a message and the team will get back to you as soon as they can.

Thank you to everyone who has offered their services as a volunteer and at the moment the scheme has enough volunteers.
