Migrant birds morning walk at Hazlewood Marshes near Aldeburgh – 19th September

Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Woodbridge Wildlife Group, invite you to join them on a morning walk around the Wildlife Trust’s Hazlewood Marshes reserve on Sunday 19 September starting at 9 am.

Phil Smith, Chairman of the SWT Woodbridge Wildlife Group, said “This early morning start time should ensure that the tide is favourable for seeing a variety of birds on the mudflats and in the air.  This is an interesting tidal reserve which provides home to a variety of wading birds, plants and invertebrates and providing we get the weather, this should be a rewarding walk.”

Places on this walk are strictly limited and must be pre-booked by contacting Suffolk Wildlife Trust.  The cost is £5 per person and bookings can be made online through www.suffolkwildlifetrust.org or by telephoning them on 01473 890089.  Parking for this event will be at the reserve car park IP17 1PG, which is off the A1094 as you enter Aldeburgh. The event is suitable for adults and children over 10. Dogs are not permitted on this reserve. Visitors are advised to wear sturdy, waterproof footwear and bring binoculars”.
