Martlesham Megabash

What is a megabash, you ask?  It is a community event designed to get people actively involved in practical wildlife conservation & looking after the land on their doorstep! 1st Megabash takes place on Martlesham Common Saturday 25th January 10:00-15:30. Help with scrub clearance, dead hedging, felling sycamore and path work.Tea and coffee available plus jacket potatoes cooked over a bonfire. All tools and training provided. Please wear stout footwear and appropriate clothing.

AONB Grants now open for bids

The various grants from and administered by both Dedham Vale and Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONBs are now open for applications. Deadlines for applications vary but are all in mid March 2020, for grant spend April 2020 to March 2021.
