Suffolk Highways – Upcoming works – B1079/A12 – Woodbridge/Melton and Hasketon – 26 May 2022

Suffolk Highways are planning to carry out road resurfacing at the B1079 roundabout, including the approaches. The following road closures will be in place between 26 and 28 May 2022. The roads will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am to ensure that we can carry out our works safely.

  • A12 Melton (from Woods Lane to A12 Hasketon), A12 Hasketon, A12 Grove Road, Woodbridge and A12 Woodbridge

Diversion route – A12, A1214, A1156, A14, A140, A1120, A12 and vice versa.

  • B1079 Grundisburgh Road, Woodbridge (from Grundisburgh Road, Hasketon to junction with Hasketon Road) and B1079 Grundisburgh Road, Hasketon (from Grundisburgh Road, Woodbridge to junction with Manor Road)

Diversion route – B1079, B1438, A12, A1214, A1156, A14, A140, B1078, B1079 and vice versa.

As they plan roadworks in advance, they schedule extra days to allow for bad weather or other delays beyond our control. If Suffolk Highways need to make major changes to the work dates, they will update the information signs on site.
