SWT – An Evening Nightingale Walk – Friday 19th May

Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Woodbridge Wildlife Group invite you to join them for an Evening Nightingale Walk on Friday 19th May, starting from 7pm. “We will be starting the walk from Melton Picnic Site, Wilford Bridge Road, IP12 1LR”   said Phil Smith, chairman of the local group.  “From there we will take the boardwalk path and quiet lane to Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s Bromeswell Green nature reserve.  We hope to hear nightingales during the walk and help our participants to identify other birds too. The walk is a distance of approximately 3 km and suitable for adults and children over 10.”

Places on this walk are strictly limited and must be pre-booked by contacting Suffolk Wildlife Trust.  A minimum donation of £5 per person is payable, with under 25’s free, and bookings can be made online through www.suffolkwildlifetrust.org  (events section) or by telephoning them on 01473 890089. No dogs except assistance dogs  are allowed on this walk. Participants are advised to wear sturdy, waterproof footwear and bring a torch and binoculars.
