I grew up in rural Essex and know the importance of a well run Parish Council and how the community can benefit from this.
I have lived in Melton since April 2019 after re-locating with my family from Hertfordshire. I live with my wife and twin daughters who attend Melton Primary School and we all love being a part of the village.
We moved to Suffolk for family connections and we want our girls to grow up in the countryside, in a safe and healthy environment.
Prior to moving, my wife and I organised summer street parties and Christmas markets raising money for local Primary Schools.
I have worked in various settings throughout my adult life and eventually carved a career from the bottom for a national vehicle maintenance provider. I progressed to Area Manager for London and the South East looking after 19 stores and over 90 employees. Once my daughters started school I found it clear I was missing out on their childhood and gave up my career to run my own business, working hours around my children’s activities and schooling. I am a Handy-woman and undertake all manners of property and garden maintenance.
I joined the Parish Council in July 2020 and believe I can offer a diverse approach to village concerns.
