Transition Woodbridge – Open Wild Garden Days

On the 28th of June, 2025, Transition Woodbridge will be holding its third open day for gardens which make space for nature and this year we will highlight gardens which have ponds.

We would love to include a wide range of ponds from the smallest to the largest and from the newest to the fully established and so would be delighted to hear from anyone in our community who has a pond that they would be willing to open up to visitors.

We have plenty of volunteers who help to make this day a success by offering support on the open day itself to our garden hosts. You won’t be doing this alone!

So please let us know if you have a pond in the Woodbridge and Melton area and are interested in joining us for this event, and thanks to those of you who have already offered. Our gardens will be open between 10 am and 4pm on the 28th of June.

And, in case you didn’t catch it, here’s Dr Mark Bowler talking about the bats discovered through our bat project collaboration
