Beresford Drive Play Park
Following the last Recreation meeting, where it was agreed that a public consultation for the Beresford Drive Play Park is required, the committee is asked to consider the timeline for the project.
Option one –
The consultation would take place over January and February with findings reported at the March Recreation meeting.
As previously agreed, the consultation would consist of flyers delivered to local properties, posters on all noticeboards along with usual comms on e-news and Nextdoor as well as being publicised in the Melton Messenger with a dedicated area on the website.
Option two –
A consultation event could be held at the Play Park during the Easter Holidays where residents would be invited along to discuss the project, meet councillors, and give their opinions. It would be a similar format to the consultation held for Hall Farm Road.
People would still be invited to participate in the consultation via the same channels as in option one if they could not attend the event.
