Car Boot Sales in 2024
Dates proposed for the Saturday car boot sales in 2024 are:
4th May
1st June
6th July
3rd August
17th August
7th September
Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance certificates will be received from the organiser.
The organiser has indicated they wish to hire the Pavilion on these dates. The hire period requested is 5am until 2pm. The charges levied for last year’s Pavilion hire were £27.00 per date which equated to 4 hours hire time (an AM hire session), which included the 10% charity discount.
Members will need to consider if an increase in charges will be levied for use of the Pavilion. A hire of 9 hours with a 10% discount would be charged at £67.95.
There have been concerns raised about the popularity of the car boot sales and consideration may need to be given if any restrictions should be imposed to limit its size.
Members are asked to:
- Approve these dates
- Consider the charges for hiring the Pavilion
- Consider imposing restrictions to limit the size of the car boot sales
