(1)Purchase of additional CCTV camera for Pavilion
After a number of reports of increased ASB at the Pavilion in April 2021 it was decided to install a higher quality camera on the Pavilion which would capture higher res images (including at night-time). Westrock CCTV installed a camera on a trial basis in May 2021. Footage captured was shared with the police who were impressed with the quality of images. Recreation Committee agreed at their meeting on the 26th May (minute item 21.38.01) to purchase the additional camera. Approval for the spend to be attributed to CIL is sought from FERM as there is no budget allocated for security measures in this year’s budget. The cost of the additional camera was £245. (2)Contribution by Melton PC of £50.00 is required to go ahead with the Quiet Lanes scheme as agreed by Full Council at Minute 21.48.02. A commitment to fund this once an invoice is received has been given. Ratification is sought from FERM. (3)An asbestos survey of the pavilion was required before prices could be sought for its demolition. This cost is £465.00 + VAT. Ratification from FERM is sought for this expenditure.
