Bank Holiday Health Advice

GP practices in East Suffolk will be closed on bank holiday Monday May 25 – but help is available

  • Please check you’ll have enough repeat prescription medicine to last over the holiday weekend
  • If you have any concerns about coronavirus you should firstly visit the NHS 111 Online symptom checker for help and advice. It’s very important you do not go to your hospital’s emergency department or the local pharmacy as you could potentially be spreading the virus
  • If you are feeling unwell with a non-coronavirus related concern then please speak to your local pharmacy or call NHS 111 or visit NHS  111 Online
  • Some pharmacies will be open on the day
  • First Response 24/7 mental health advice and support is available. If you are experiencing something that makes you feel unsafe, distressed or worried about your mental health call the helpline on 0808 196 3494
  • Online counselling and emotional wellbeing support for young people aged 11 – 25 years is available from Kooth and the Wellbeing Suffolk service offers a range of wellbeing support
