Santa visiting Melton – 15th December

Santa is visiting Melton on Tuesday evening on his Rotary sleigh. The sleigh will start at approximately 5.45pm and finish at around 8pm.

Tuesday 15th December: Hall Farm Road and Close, Manthorp Close, Churchman Close, houses on Woods Lane backing on Hall Farm Road, St. Andrews’s Place and Close.

The Rotary club will be collecting donations but not calling on houses. They have also set up a dedicated website for on-line donations and for letters to Santa.

  • Check that you will have enough repeat prescription medicine to last over the holidays and that it usually takes at least 48 hours for your GP practice to process a repeat prescription request
  • The NHS 111 service is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for urgent medical help and advice by telephone and online
  • The Suffolk GP+ service offers evening,weekend and bank holiday GP and nurse appointments – ask at your surgery during its usual opening hours

Christmas Post Boxes – 1st Woodbridge Scout Group

Monday 25th November – Wednesday 11th December

The 1st Woodbridge Scout Group will be hand delivering Christmas cards to addresses in the IP12 area. They are guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas Eve. The cost is only 30p per card (any size).

The last collection date is Wednesday 11th December. Card deliveries will then begin on Thursday 12th December until Christmas Eve.

Post Boxes are located throughout Woodbridge and Melton including 15 Riduna Park (John Catt), Notcutts, Dobies, Lloyds Pharmacy, Island Dental Practice, New Street Market, Browsers bookshop, AJ Rawlings opticians and the Carpet Shop.

Please put your cards and money together in the boxes. Envelopes must have the full address, postcode and any special instructions clearly marked.
