The decision to cancel the next two events was taken by the Suffolk County Council Love Woodbridge and Melton Project Team, not Woodbridge TC or Melton PC. Statement from the SCC Love Woodbridge and Melton Project Team:
It is with regret that we will be cancelling the engagement events for the Love Woodridge and Melton project planned for Saturday 14th October at the Shire Hall in Woodbridge and on Thursday 19th October at Melton Parish Council Offices at Riduna Park. We have received a large amount of feedback from the local community which we are currently working our way through to inform the development of a set of interventions which will be going out to formal public consultation early next year. The consultation will be widely promoted via various channels both online and offline. We will also utilise the communication channels of the local councils. Thank you for everyone’s feedback. We are pleased so many people in the community want to contribute to the project around existing travel behaviours and what they would like to see come out of the idea of better connections in the local area and getting more people out and about to enjoy the outside.
