Suffolk Highways are planning to carry out pre surface dressing road repairs along U3606 Old Church Road, Melton and U3606 Lower Road, Ufford. The works are programmed to take place between 7 and 13 December 2022. The roads will be closed for the duration to ensure that works can be carried out safely.
For the duration of the road closure, traffic will be diverted via B1438, The Avenue, Barrack Lane, Lower Street and vice versa.
As Suffolk Highways plan roadworks in advance, they schedule extra days to allow for bad weather or other delays beyond their control. If they need to make major changes to work dates, they will update the information signs on site.
