Book of Condolence

Members of the public wishing to express their condolences are encouraged to send a message to the Royal Family via the online Book of Condolence. A selection of messages will be passed onto members of the Royal Family, and may be held in the Royal Archives for posterity.

A book of condolence is now open in both the Parish Churches of St Mary of the Assumption, Ufford and St Andrew’s, Melton. Both churches are open daily.

Physical books of condolence are also being provided at the following locations across East Suffolk, organised by the respective Town Council:

– Aldeburgh – The Moot Hall
– Beccles – Beccles Town Hall
– Bungay – St Mary’s Church
– Felixstowe – The Chairman’s Room, Town Hall
– Framlingham – St Michael’s Church
– Halesworth – Halesworth Library
– Kesgrave – Town Council Office, Ferguson WAy
– Leiston – Leiston Library
– Lowestoft – Library and Marina Theatre Box Office
– Saxmundham – Market Hall, 29 High Street
– Southwold – Southwold Library and Town Hall
– Woodbridge – Shire Hall, Market Hill
