The Melton Tree Crew carried out some tree planting and protection at the Melton Road playing field and Burkes Wood at the weekend. The magnificent oak at the entrance to Burkes Wood was in need of some protection as her toes are getting trampled and damaged. The team placed a protective ring around her to give her some space.
