Older Persons Housing Strategy Survey

East Suffolk Council is conducting research to better understand the issues, barriers and challenges that guide the decisions residents make about their housing needs when they reach retirement age.

To assist this work, a short survey has been prepared by the the Housing Strategy and Enabling Team.

Complete the Older Persons Housing Strategy survey

Residents can request assistance to complete the survey, or a paper copy, by calling East Suffolk Council on 0333 016 2000 or contacting the Customer Services Team. All responses are anonymous and the whole survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. The closing date is 5pm on Friday 9 July.

As a thank you for your time, respondents may also put their name forward (this is kept separate to your survey responses to maintain anonymity) for a prize draw, with one lucky entrant winning £50 worth of shopping vouchers of their choice. Respondents will also have the opportunity to discuss the results in small groups during the summer, either in person (with COVID safety protocols) or virtually.

The prize draw will be held on Monday 12 July and announced via social media and the Council’s website.

The results from the survey will then help guide the overall themes and policies of the strategy and ESC very much looks forward to hearing what you have to say. For more information, please email the Housing Strategy and Enabling Manager or call 01502 523 462.
