Suffolk Highways are planning to carry out pre footway resurfacing repair works along Bredfield Road, Melton (from Bury Hill to Godfreys Wood). The works are programmed to take place between 1 and 26 August 2022.
The road will be closed each day between 8am and 4pm to ensure that they can carry out works safely.
For the duration of the road closure, traffic will be diverted via A1152, B1438, Pytches Road and vice versa.
Suffolk Highways plan roadworks in advance, they schedule extra days to allow for bad weather or other delays beyond their control. If Suffolk Highways need to make major changes to work dates, they will update the information signs on site.
