The tree warden has planted some new trees at Orchard Close. Three wild cherries and one rowan have been plantedĀ  at the end of the close, parallel to the bollards separating the close from Bury Hill. A further four cherries and one rowan are alongside the path of the larger grassed area. We will be looking at carrying out some planting along the boundary of the playing field/Melton Road where we recently had to remove a diseased white willow tree.
